CushCore Tires Editorial Review
The CushCore Pro 29" set is a great option for cyclists who ride tough terrains and desire added stability, traction and protection against flats. The inserts provide a suspension-like effect bringing smoothness to the ride even over rocky gardens. According to some customer reports, they settle the bike well on hard-packed trails and provide perfect grip, especially on off-camber sections. Also, the set includes valves and can be used with tubeless tire sealant. However, installing them can, at times, be challenging, and it is advisable to avoid using them with 29 2.50 tires or on thinner rims that are at the edge of what is recommended. Additionally, the kit does not come with an install tool, although it’s not necessary, and the CushCore Pro 29" bike set is heavier than most tire sets leading to a temporary heft difference.
