Answer: Yes, the wires can be close to the flame without melting. It controls the flame and the gas valve can be left open at all times. -
Question:
Can I use this kit with a 22" pan burner with fire glass?
Answer: Most likely yes, as the kit regulates gas flow to the burner, providing automatic start/shutoff, pilot light or electronic spark options, and flame adjustment. -
Question:
Will this work on a Heat N Glo fireplace?
Answer: This safety pilot kit is suitable for vented gas logs, not manufactured fireplaces, and is compatible with 18" to 30" wide log sets with open glass doors during use. -
Question:
Will this work with propane as well?
Answer: Yes, with a conversion process replacing the natural gas pilot orifice with the provided propane pilot orifice as detailed in the installation instructions. -
Question:
Where can I get just the remote?
Answer: Unfortunately, we cannot assist as ours was installed by a handyman who managed the ordering and installation.
