Rothco Tactical Bag Accessories 40069 Editorial Review
The Rothco 40069 Molle Knife Sheath has garnered a variety of opinions from customers, primarily centered around its fit and Construction. Many users appreciate the sheath's design, noting that it accommodates multiple knife types, particularly thinner bladed knives like the M7 Bayonet, Glock Knife, and Cold Steel SRK, with some even mentioning their satisfaction in how perfectly their Ka-Bar fits. The internal plastic scabbard ensures blade protection and shape retention, which is well-received. However, there are frequent mentions of drawbacks, particularly in terms of the sheath's adjustable features and strap design. The retaining straps, while functional, are noted to be too short and non-adjustable, which limits compatibility with different knife handles. Users often find that the straps do not accommodate larger or bulkier handles well, which could pose a problem for some knives. Additionally, there were comments about the sheath's Construction feeling a bit weak, and concerns about how certain widths can impact the blade's edge preservation. Overall, the Rothco 40069 has resonated positively with a segment of users who value its functionality for specific knives, but the lack of adjustability and concerns regarding build quality could deter some potential buyers seeking a more universal or durable option. **
