The Complete Beast

**** The Complete Beast box set is a comprehensive collection that features the entire discography of the metal band Impellitteri. This set is a treasure for dedicated fans, particularly those seeking hard-to-find CDs that highlight what many Consider to be some of the best guitar work in metal. Renowned for his impressive shredding skills, Chris Impellitteri stands out as a guitarist, and Rob Rock's vocals contribute to the band's signature sound. Many reviews indicate that the set is ideal for collectors or newcomers wanting to explore the band's journey through metal. However, sentiments are mixed, particularly regarding the quality and presentation of the music itself. While several reviewers appreciate the guitar work and songwriting, others express disappointment in the overall audio quality, describing it as dated in comparison to modern standards. Critics note that the lyrics often lack depth, presenting ideas without clear resolutions, which may leave listeners wondering about the band's true message. The physical packaging has also received criticism, with some finding it unremarkable and suggesting that it doesn't do justice to the band’s legacy or the music included. Despite some negative feedback, there remains a strong appreciation among fans for specific tracks and the band's iconic status in the heavy metal genre. For those who enjoy classic heavy metal recordings, the box set might still hold some appeal—though potential buyers are encouraged to research the contents thoroughly to ensure the purchase meets their expectations. **
