    Rispondere: No, it actually dries a very pretty rich red brown. Just like in the web advertisement. We sprayed a heater cover and looks terrific. Don’t forget the primer.

    Rispondere: If the picture to the left is the product you're asking about, it's matte. It's a primer (base coat), not a finish coat. Finish coats come in matte, semi gloss, gloss...in many colors. Hope this was helpful.

    Rispondere: I don't know for sure, but it does not resist scratching on my fireplace. So, I don't know if it would withstand the daily cleaning of a kitchen stove top.

If you are tired of the color of your stove or fireplace, Stove Bright High Temp Paint- Primer is a great solution for you. This primer comes in matte and can be used alone as a primary color. It is a base coat, not a finish coat, and cover area of about 28 x 23 x 32 inches inside the doors with two cans when coated over primed surface. However, there are concerns with the quality of the primer. Some customers found that the primer didn't work well and it produced globs instead of a smooth coat. Moreover, although it claims to be high temperature, it did not perform as claimed by some reviewers leading to paint peeling off in several spots after the first use. In terms of color, Mojave Red dries a very pretty rich red-brown that looks terrific based on customer experiences.
