  • domanda: I am looking for a sprayer I can use to spray a fine mist of metallic paint rather than a squirt to emulate the spray on waves. Will this be suitable?

    Rispondere: Definitely NOT. It sprays paint heavily, too much in my opinion. Get an airbrush, use the largest tip.
  • domanda: Will the 62-2-3 fit the regular airbrush hose?

    Rispondere: An airbrush hose would not provide sufficient airflow. This is a fairly good-sized spray gun. I use a standard compressor hose, which the nipple on the gun is designed for. This is a really great gun but it is larger than an airbrush--more like a touch-up gun.
  • domanda: Could I use this to paint a toolbox?

    Rispondere: Sure!... it is a small paint sprayer. You just have to make sure you clean it really well when you are done. Solvent-based paint will clog it if it isn't really cleaned.
  • domanda: 1/4 horse does not mean much. what is the CFM/pressure required?

    Rispondere: Not much CFM requirement, but it needs 40-50# of pressure at least for spraying ceramic glazes...
  • domanda: What size is the tip, and can it be changed?

    Rispondere: The tip is small we use it to spray gel-coat. Not sure about changing the tip never had a need to.
  • domanda: Can you put acetone in this plastic reservoir?

    Rispondere: Yes. We fill the bottle with acetone to clean the gun.
  • domanda: Can I use basic craft acrylic paint in this?

    Rispondere: You can spray anything if you thin it properly. Practice on something else first to see how this thing sprays. I was not happy as it sprayed paint too heavily with no adjustability. You can experiment with different air pressure which I did not do.
