How long does the hold of this denture fixing cream last?

The hold of Adhesive - Extra Strong Denture Fixing Cream is designed to last all day long, offering stability and comfort. Users can expect long-lasting adhesion that allows them to go about their daily routines without frequent reapplication. This makes it perfect for busy individuals who require dependable denture support from morning to night.

Is this denture cream safe for sensitive gums?

Yes, Adhesive - Extra Strong Denture Fixing Cream is formulated with gentle ingredients and is suitable for sensitive gums. It is important to follow the application instructions properly to minimize any potential irritation. The cream's design addresses the needs of users who may have previously experienced discomfort with stronger adhesives, ensuring a more comfortable wearing experience.

How do I apply the Adhesive - Extra Strong Denture Fixing Cream?

To apply the Adhesive - Extra Strong Denture Fixing Cream, clean your dentures thoroughly, then apply a thin, even layer of the cream along the denture edges. Insert the dentures into your mouth, holding them in place for a few moments to allow the adhesive to set. This method ensures an effective bond and optimal hold. Proper application not only enhances the adhesion but also improves overall comfort.

The neutral properties help maintain freshness throughout the day.

Can this adhesive cream help with denture sores?

While Adhesive - Extra Strong Denture Fixing Cream is not a treatment for denture sores, its strong hold can help minimize movement that might irritate sore spots. Users with sensitive areas may find that a secure fit helps reduce friction, potentially alleviating some discomfort. However, if sores persist, it is advisable to consult a dentist for personalized care.

Nutritionist's Take

The 'Adhesive - Extra Strong Denture Fixing Cream' is primarily designed for securing dentures and is not a nutritional product in itself. Nutritionists consider its formulation, which typically contains zinc and other adhesive compounds, as crucial for maintaining denture stability rather than contributing to nutritional intake. While it allows individuals with dentures to eat a variety of foods comfortably, the presence of zinc has raised concerns about excessive intake leading to potential health issues, such as interference with copper absorption. Nutritionists advise users to monitor their overall dietary zinc levels to avoid adverse effects. Furthermore, it is important to consider the ingredient quality, as some formulations may contain artificial additives. While it serves a necessary function for denture wearers, it does not provide any nutritional benefits and should be used with caution. Overall, while it enhances quality of life for denture users, it does not replace the need for a balanced diet.

Protefix Adhesives Editorial Review

Protefix Adhesive - Extra Strong Denture Fixing Cream claims to provide superior hold for dentures. Unfortunately, according to customer reviews, this product does not deliver on this promise. Several users have reported that the cream failed to keep their dentures in place, leaving them with a messy and uncomfortable feeling in their mouth. Additionally, some reviewers have commented that the packaging is confusing as all the writing is in a foreign language.
