    Rispondere: Yes the sizes are accurate. An it is a wide boot. I bought the 10.5 W and it is the right size length wise but to wide for my foot. If your friend has a wide foot they will fit.

    Rispondere: The toe is hard but doesn't seem like a steel toe. YOu could ask the Harley people on the internet.

    Rispondere: Heel of the boot is about 1 1/2 inch high.

    Rispondere: I'm not familiar with the scout however, I've had these boots for a number of years and they are still in great shape. I am extremely tough on footware and replace other brands much more frequently. Highly recommended square toes or not.
