Action & Adventure Editorial Review
Josh (2000) (Hindi Film / Bollywood Movie / Indian Cinema DVD) showcases a gripping tale inspired by West Side Story, adapted into an Indian context that resonates with contemporary themes. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan, who delivers a strong performance as Max, the leader of a Catholic gang in Goa, alongside Aishwarya Rai, who captivates as his sister. The runtime of 2 hours and 42 minutes features intense action and drama. However, the single-layer DVD-R format may lead to some loss of quality when viewed on larger screens, which could detract from the experience, especially during high-motion scenes. Overall, fans of Bollywood will appreciate the storyline and performances.
