Battlefield Hardline (PS4)

Battlefield Hardline is a first-person shooter video game developed by Visceral Games in collaboration with EA DICE and published by Electronic Arts. The game follows a story featuring Nick Mendoza, a Miami detective who becomes embroiled in a conspiracy between corrupt cops and drug lords. The single-player campaign is impressive, with a gripping and well-written story that keeps you engaged throughout the gameplay. The multiplayer mode is where Battlefield Hardline truly shines, offering a wide range of game modes that keep you coming back for more. The new game modes, like Hotwire and Heist, are captivating and add a new dimension to the franchise. The graphics and gameplay mechanics are top-notch, delivering a thrilling and immersive experience. However, some players have criticized the game for lacking the large-scale battles and destruction that are characteristic of the Battlefield series. The game's focus on a smaller-scale police themed setting has divided opinion amongst the Battlefield community. Overall, Battlefield Hardline is an exciting game that delivers a fresh take on the FPS genre. The single-player campaign is an excellent addition to the game, but it's the multiplayer mode that makes this game a must-play for fans of the Battlefield series.
