PM Studios PlayStation 4 PM-00060 Editorial Review
Ikai - PlayStation 4 is a first-person psychological horror game inspired by Japanese folklore, immersing players in an eerie narrative filled with yokais and superstitions. You play as Naoko, a priestess who must confront various evil entities without the means to fight back. The game's unique mechanics emphasize helplessness, enhancing the tension as players explore a feudal Shinto shrine and solve complex puzzles. The immersive experience is heightened through a meticulously crafted atmosphere, and while some players found the gameplay sufficiently engaging, others felt that the horror elements were not as intense as expected. The combination of exploration and puzzle-solving serves to deepen the narrative and engage players in this haunting tale.
