Space Fleet Editorial Review
Star's End: The Starfishers Trilogy: Volume Three is a captivating continuation of Glen Cook's acclaimed series. Published by Night Shade, this 264-page science fiction novel presents a rich tapestry of characters and worlds, deeply engaging readers with its meticulous world-building and well-developed plots. Many commend Cook's ability to weave complex themes of war and triumph within a plausible future, echoing elements of submarine warfare and the Manhattan project set in space. Readers appreciate the clean internal logic and the satisfying conclusion that leaves the narrative open for more possibilities. Although some feel it to be the weakest entry in the trilogy with minor confusion in technology levels, it still captivates the imagination.
