Rated: Unrated Format: DVD Action & Adventure Editorial Review

Lady Ninja Kasumi, Vol. 1 combines action and traditional elements, showcasing a unique portrayal of female ninjas in an engaging yet scrutinized narrative. The movie, unrated and with a runtime of 1 hour and 12 minutes, received mixed reviews highlighting the visually striking scenes, particularly the lead actress's performance and her traditional attire, which evokes a sense of nostalgia for ninja lore. Some viewers found it entertaining, despite noting its low-budget execution and lack of depth in storytelling. The film, produced by Tokyo Shock, might appeal to genre fans even though others have criticized its acting quality and repetitive scenes.
