The Coolaroo 301354 Shade Fabric Accessories, Pack of 50 Green Timber Fasteners, are fantastic for weaving through shade cloth to create channels for drawstrings to be threaded. They are sturdy and can hold the fabric tightly. These clips are perfect for use with shades for skylights or over a fence. One buyer cited the example of neither nailing nor stapling the fabric to a structure, as this would make removing the shade difficult and cause the material to tear in the wind. The plastic clips are rustproof and able to endure high winds, perfectly capable of keeping shades in place. The clips can be used alone, or with screw-in eyes and carabiners, although customers mentioned needing to put in a wire loop before locking the clip shut. Although these butterfly clips work well with knitted shade cloth and look durable, they may not snap onto every Coolaroo shade. They also have difficulty with solid, thicker fabric that may not fit through the clip close.
