The JHS Bender Fuzz Pedal is a solid version of the classic fuzz and is highly recommended for anyone looking to add an authentic vintage guitar hero sound to their bag of tricks. It has the classic fuzz tone and is versatile, pairing perfectly with all the pedals on the modulation row (after fuzz in chain) and surprisingly also sounding amazing with screamer added in front of the signal. It does not pair well with Active PUs, but sounds awesome in all positions with passive PUs. The build quality is excellent and the sound is fantastic, with deep thick fuzz when the tone knob is turned back and tight and cutting with the tone knob turned up. The switch on the side takes it to an 11, making it everything you would want from a muff style fuzz. It is especially recommended for those looking for the sound of classic British rock. The only downside is that it does not play well with others or wireless transmission.
