B&M Shifters Editorial Review

B&M 80688 console QuickSilver Automatic Shifter offers a sleek design for retrofit applications, though installation may require modifications. Users noted challenges aligning the base with the trans tunnel on classic models like the 1973 Camaro, leading to necessary cuts in the floorboard to prevent cable kinks. While it enhances aesthetics in vehicles such as the Z28 with its clean appearance, some encountered issues with slap shift functionality, leading to concerns about its reliability. Despite these hurdles, it generally works well after installation, with users appreciating the option to switch between gears smoothly once set up correctly.
