The Sony Walkman A300 Series NW-A306 is a small and slim streaming hi-res device that has impressed a long-time Sony Walkman user who has tried an old Xiaomi smartphone and previously owned NW-A55 but skipped the NW-A107 for its battery life. The sound quality is the best so far, even when streaming, and better than smartphones. The device has a USB-C port and can read USB drives when connected, and the SD card supports up to 1GB. Bluetooth 5.0 provides better connectivity and battery Consumption. However, the battery life is not very good, far from the advertised 36 hours, and using the wifi 2.4 GHz comes with noise issues. The 64GB version is quite pricey, especially for those solely looking for a music player, but it serves its purpose and is convenient to use.
