  • domanda: Would this be suitable as E1st?

    Rispondere: You could use it as your first E string, but a typical thickness for electric guitars start at 9s to 11s. It also depends on the thickness of your other strings.
  • domanda: Which one of these should I buy to replace the high 'e'?

    Rispondere: The gauge of the high 'E' string you should choose will depend on the gauges of the other strings you already have fitted. Usually, string sets are described as something like ultra light, light, medium, heavy, and each set has a matched group.
  • domanda: Can PL013 replace the high e on a brand new 13-56 medium gauge set?

    Rispondere: Yes, no problem.
  • domanda: Can PL013 be used as high e replacement for medium set for acoustic?

    Rispondere: You could use it for a top e string. It will be very tight. Could be a problem if your other strings are looser as intonation and feel may be off.
  • domanda: What is the length of this string?

    Rispondere: D'Addario PL018 steel string is approximately 44 inches long.
  • domanda: Can this be used for high strung Nashville tuning?

    Rispondere: Presumably you'd be using it for the G string. No reason why an 009 wouldn't work but 008 is pretty much the norm.
  • domanda: Is the price for 1 string or a pack of 15's?

    Rispondere: This listing is for one single plain steel string.
  • domanda: I need 12 acoustic b strings and 13 d strings that are T12 size but can't work out the sizes you have advertised. Can you help?

    Rispondere: For the B strings, you would need .16 plain strings and wound .32 gauge strings for the D. This is if you are using standard 12 - 54 set.
  • domanda: Are these B strings?

    Rispondere: It can be if you generally use extra lite strings, but it would be way too floppy for me. I wouldn't use anything less than a 13 gauge on an electric and at least a 14 gauge on an acoustic.
  • domanda: Which one is the A string?

    Rispondere: This is a Top E string for medium/heavy electric set or a light acoustic set. It can also be used as a B string on a light/Extra light electric set. The A string for the D'addario electric set EXL 116 Is 42 Nickel Wound.
