Kanto Bookshelf Speakers YU6MB-FG Editorial Review
The Kanto YU6MB Powered Bookshelf Speakers have garnered mostly positive feedback from users, blending style and functionality to cater to a range of listening preferences. Many users have praised the speakers for their impressive sound quality, particularly highlighting the clarity and detail in the mid-range frequencies. Despite being compact, the YU6 speakers deliver a powerful performance that impresses Consumers, especially when connected to a subwoofer. The versatility of the Kanto YU6 is a significant selling point, with multiple input options allowing seamless connections to various devices, including turntables, gaming Consoles, and smartphones via Bluetooth. The ability to connect two Bluetooth devices at once is a unique feature that adds convenience for users who frequently switch between sources. However, several reviews noted issues with the built-in phono pre-amp, particularly concerning a slight hum when in use, which some resolved by swapping it out for an external pre-amp. Aesthetic appeal is another strong aspect of the Kanto YU6 speakers; they are described as stylish and modern, fitting well in various settings without being obtrusive. However, the user interface could benefit from improvements, as some found the input selector and volume control less intuitive due to the absence of clear labeling. In summary, the Kanto YU6MB Powered Bookshelf Speakers are an excellent choice for those seeking quality sound in a compact design. They attractively combine audio performance, versatility, and aesthetic appeal, although minor usability issues exist that users should be aware of. **
