SEC Bolt Key BrassBlack S1064

Securit S1064 Security Bolt Key Brass/Black The Securit S1064 Security Bolt Key is a budget-friendly option for those in need of a security key for certain types of locks. This key features a brass star end and a black handle for easy identification. While the key is advertised as being compatible with certain security locks, customer feedback suggests that it may not fit all types of locks. One customer mentioned that the key did not engage properly on their Chubb/Yale bolt, citing shallower grooves as the issue. Another customer mentioned that the key had 6 splines but did not fit properly and did not turn fully. Despite these compatibility concerns, other customers mentioned that the key did the job and was of fair quality. One customer commented that the key was a little too thin for their bolt holes, while another mentioned that it was a little short but still functional. Overall, customers found the key to be strong and well-made, albeit with some minor issues such as a plasticy end feeling flimsy and the finned end being slightly short. In conclusion, the Securit S1064 Security Bolt Key may be a suitable option for those who need an affordable security key. However, potential buyers should be aware of compatibility issues, particularly with Chubb/Yale bolts. It is also worth noting that some customers had minor concerns with the key's design and size.
