    Risposta: Yes, it can be used in place of sugar in hot drinks or baking.

  • Domanda: What is the main ingredient of this sweetener?

    Risposta: The main ingredient is 100% Erythritol.
  • Domanda: Would this be the same as monk fruit natural sugar alternative?

    Risposta: I have never tried monk fruit. Very expensive. Pure Erythritol as this one affects many people with a cold feeling in your mouth. It needs to be cut with another sweetener to break it down. I bought truvia, which is a mix of Erythritol & stevia & NO cold feeling for me at all. I found truvia the best. Hope this helps.
  • Domanda: Can this be used like sugar to thicken sauces?

    Risposta: It can thicken but not the same as sugar.

    Risposta: Non GMO Erythrito
  • Domanda: Does this contain stevia?

    Risposta: Not at all. It's made by fermenting cornstarch so is similar to the production of stevia. It's non calorific, perfect for diabetes sufferers and won't damage your teeth. It's 60% to 70% less sweet than sugar so each spoonful is about a 1/3 less than a spoonful of sugar. Brilliant product been using it for a couple of years.
  • Domanda: How much teaspoons of this are equal to one spoonful of sugar?

    Risposta: I found I had to use 4 or 5 spoonfuls to get anywhere near the sweetness of sugar.
  • Domanda: In baking, do I use the same weight as sugar?

    Risposta: No extra is necessary for sweetening.
  • Domanda: Why don't you include the ingredients on the description?

    Risposta: It's Erythritol, a type of carbohydrate called a sugar alcohol that people use as a sugar substitute. Erythritol is found naturally in some foods. It's also made when things like wine, beer, and cheese ferment. Besides its natural form, erythritol has also been a man-made sweetener since 1990.
  • Domanda: Is this allulose?

    Risposta: No.
  • Domanda: Is this in powder form or granulated?

    Risposta: Puresweet zero is granulated, it's nice over breakfasts and dissolves well in hot drinks. If you want the powder, you need to purchase puresweet icing. I hope this helps.
